Chelsea board decide their pick to replace Maurizio Sarri after Liverpool defeat

Chelsea’s under-fire first-team coach Maurizio Sarri could be replaced by Watford Boss Javi Gracia according to the Daily Record.

Sarri’s tenure at Chelsea has been far from convincing after making a splendid start to the season but faltering ever since. Some believe that Chelsea’s 2-0 defeat at Anfield could be the last straw for the Italian.

Meanwhile, Javi Gracia has impressed one and all this season including those in Chelsea’s high ranks with his performances both on and off the field.

The Spaniard has guided Watford to the FA Cup final and the Hornets sit at an impressive 7th spot on the table without any considerable investment.

Gracia joins Chelsea’s three man shortlist of Wolves Boss Nuno Espirito Santo and Blues icon and current Derby county manager Frank Lampard on the list of replacements for Maurizio Sarri.
