Eden Hazard has reassured Chelsea fans that he is fully committed to helping the Blues win the Europa League this season and get them back in the Champions League for the next campaign.
The 28-year-old has been constantly linked with a move to Real Madrid and this summer it is only going to intensify now that Zinedine Zidane has returned as their full-time manager.
With the Belgium captain’s current contract running out in 2020, the Blues have been trying to convince their star man to sign a new deal and commit his long-term future to Stamford Bridge and see out his career in west London.
However, that is growing more and more unlikely and Madrid are preparing to sign Hazard, who is also said to be keen to make the move to the Spanish capital when the transfer window opens up again.
But the Belgian insists that he is fully focused on Chelsea’s end of season before considering where his future will lie.
Speaking to Belgian publication VTM News, Hazard said: “At the moment there’s nobody waiting for me.
“We still have two important months with Chelsea. We can win the Europa League.
“We have to win the Europa League or we have to finish in the top four to play in the Champions League.
“I am only thinking about that [the last two months with Chelsea], not about what might happen in two, three, four months. I don’t know. We will see.”
