Chelsea join Manchester United in race for Juventus attacker

Premier League side Chelsea have registered their interest in signing Juventus winger Douglas Costa, according to a report on Tribal Football, who quote Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.

The Blues know that current forward Eden Hazard could leave at the end of the season and are already looking at potential replacements for the Belgian.

Hazard has spoken openly about his desire to join Spanish club Real Madrid and the Blues feel that Costa could be a good replacement.

The management team at Juventus are keen to keep hold of the skilful winger but it is understood that Costa is open to listening to offers for him in the summer.

The Brazilian is also being closely monitored by Manchester United, so there could be a battle between the two clubs to secure his signature.

Costa has not been in the best of form and has only found the net in the league once so far this season.
