Chelsea’s Official Starting Eleven vs Tottenham

Chelsea are close to deals for Cagliari midfielder Nicolo Barella and Zenit St Petersburg midfielder Leandro Paredes, according to Sky sources.

But where would the pair fit in at Stamford Bridge?

Alan Smith is on co-commentary duty this evening, alongside Martin Tyler. He’s been speaking to Sky Sports News.

“Neither manager have won a major trophy, they’ll be looking to put that right tonight. This is probably a bigger match for Spurs – they’ve come a long way in such a short space of time. Chelsea have won trophies, Spurs haven’t. It’s a big night.

“I’m expecting a fast, aggressive start by Chelsea. There could be fireworks.”

“Team news is coming up soon; how will both teams approach this with important league games coming up? SSN is on all of the screens here, so head there for the team news if you’re about to arrive back from work, or stick here for all the latest from around Wembley…”

Team to play Tottenham: Kepa, Azpilicueta, Christensen, Rudiger, Alonso, Jorginho, Kante, Barkley, Willian, Hazard, Hudson-Odoi

Subs: Caballero, Zappacosta, Ampadu, Luiz, Kovacic, Pedro, Giroud
