Chelsea star Callum Hudson-Odoi has hinted he will stay at Stamford Bridge for the remainder of the season.
The winger handed in a transfer request earlier this month and made it clear to Chelsea that he wished to join Bayern Munich.
The Bundesliga giants have had three bids rejected for the 18-year-old, the last of which was close to £40million.
Hudson-Odoi has 18 months to run on his existing deal and has threatened to let his contract run down and to leave on a free if Chelsea block his wish to depart.
However, with the transfer window set to close tonight at 11pm, a move to the Allianz Arena is looking increasingly unlikely and Hudson-Odoi has hinted on his Twitter page that he is staying put.
The winger ‘liked’ an interview with Willian where the Brazilian insisted Hudson-Odoi was ‘going nowhere’.
In the interview, Willian said the teenager could become one of the best in the world by staying in west London.
‘He’s going nowhere – he’s a special talent, a very good player and is staying with us,’ said Willian.
‘Of course he is only 18 but he can improve a lot and in the future can become one of the best players in the world.
‘It’s difficult not to think about Bayern Munich because they are a great team as well but for me, his future is here.
‘He has to stay because he knows the club, and I am sure he will play more’.
