Chelsea have reportedly held talks with Aston Villa about the possibility of bringing Tammy Abraham back to Stamford Bridge in January.
The Birmingham Mail reports that the two clubs are in discussions as the Blues consider their options ahead of the January transfer window.
Abraham has been in fantastic form this season and stole the headlines recently after scoring four goals during Villa’s 5-5 draw with Nottingham Forest.
Chelsea do have the option of recalling the player during the January window as part of the season-long loan.
With 11 goals to his name already this season, many believe the Chelsea youngster has done his time in the Championship and should be playing in the Premier League at the very least.
Chelsea have lacked goals this season and could look to add to their strikeforce in January, but Abraham could certainly be the cheaper option in the new year if the club wanted to wait until the summer.
