Lots of Chelsea fans desperately want talented attacker to be unleashed in the Europa League

Chelsea are having a fine season so far as they are unbeaten in 10 games in all competitions.

Maurizio Sarri’s side currently sit third in the Premier League table, two points adrift of leaders Manchester City and second-placed Liverpool.

On Thursday, the West London outfit will switch their attention to the Europa League as they plan to face Hungarian side Vidi FC at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues opened their campaign with a 1-0 victory over Group L opponents PAOK, and they can extend their advantage with a win on home soil.

The second-tiered European competition allows the so-called bigger clubs to rest some key players due to the level of competition they will be facing.

Sarri is expected to make some changes for the encounter, and one man who plenty of fans want to see in the lineup is 17-year-old Callum Hudson-Odoi.

The teenager featured in the Community Shield before the start of the season, but competitively he has not made a first-team appearance under Sarri.

The attacking player, who predominantly plays on the left wing, has played in four Premier League 2 matches this season, scoring one goal and setting up another.

On Twitter, plenty of fans responded to Chelsea’s post about Thursday’s fixture by urging the coach to play Hudson-Odoi.
