DAVID DE GEA has been trolled on social media for conceding three first half goals for Spain against England.
The Three Lions have shocked their opponents with Raheem Sterling netting twice and Marcus Rashford also on target.
And fans have taken to social media and called for Manchester United ace De Gea to be dropped.
They want Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga to get a chance as first-choice for Spain.
One said: “Bring on Kepa for the second half this is getting worse!!!”
Another added: “Kepa Arrizabalaga > De Gea.”
And a third said: “Kepa would never.”
England left Spain shellshocked with their first half display.
And despite having far less possession, Gareth Southgate’s side were deadly on the counter-attack.
Sterling gave England the lead in the 16th minute with an emphatic finish.
And Rashford made it 2-0 from close range 22 minutes later.
Then Manchester City star Sterling would add his second of the evening tapping home a Harry Kane header.
Former England great Terry Butcher was impressed with the first half display.
He said: “It was almost surgical from England. Incisive and deadly.”
England will hope to record a crucial three points after their 0-0 draw with Croatia on Friday.
