Italian Serie A club Genoa have rejected a £32m bid from Napoli for Chelsea target Krzysztof Piatek, according to a report on Talksport.
The forward is being monitored by a number of European clubs including Chelsea, Liverpool and Barcelona, with Genoa set to allow him to leave during the January transfer window if the right offer is made.
The Polish international is in brilliant goalscoring form and has got his name on the scoresheet nine times in eight Serie A appearances this season.
His prolific form means that his value is continuing to increase, with Genoa believing that £32m is too less for their star player.
The 23-year-old forward is being watched by Blues’ boss Maurizio Sarri, who is plotting a move for a goalscoring forward in January.
Current forwards Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud aren’t in the best form and Sarri knows that he needs someone to ease the goalscoring burden from Eden Hazard.
