Chelsea target and Genoa striker Krzysztof Piatek says he is not paying any attention to rumours linking him with Barcelona.
The Polish striker has been linked with several European clubs following his breakthrough season in Serie.
Chelsea are said to be among the favourites to sign the player, with Maurizio Sarri reportedly a fan. Meanwhile, Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund and Juventus have all been touted as potential destinations.
Piatek scored eight goals in the first six games for his club, equalling a record that has stood since 1949.
Speaking to Polish outlet SportoweFakty, as cited on Calciomercato, about his future, Piatek explains that at the moment, he is not interested in a move to the Nou Camp.
The Barcelona interest in me – I heard, but I do not believe it – the broken records, including that of Shevchenko, for now I do not consider joining them too much. Maybe one day I will enjoy reading these things.
Chelsea will be keen to add to their options in the final third during the January window.
Neither Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud have found the back of the net regularly this season.
