Chelsea star Eden Hazard is the in the best form of his career, according to Belgium team-mate Toby Alderweireld.
Hazard has seven goals and three assists in the Premier League this season as the Blues have made an unbeaten start to life under Maurizio Sarri.
The 27-year-old this week again confirmed his desire to one day play for Real Madrid and his Belgium team-mates agree he is good enough for the European champions.
“He is doing very well,” Alderweireld told reporters. “In my view, this is the best Hazard we have ever seen.”
Thomas Meunier, another international team-mate, says Hazard can be considered alongside the likes of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, whom he plays alongside every week for Paris Saint-Germain.
He added: “Hazard is currently at the same level as Neymar and Mbappe. They play at a high level every week.”
Hazard, Alderweireld and Meunier are next in action for Belgium against Switzerland in the Uefa Nations League on Saturday
