Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri is a big fan of AC Milan attacker Suso and wants to swap Tiemoue Bakayoko to land the Spanish forward, according to Calcio Mercato.
The Italian trainer took over at Stamford Bridge in the summer but had limited time to add to the squad he inherited from Antonio Conte.
Chelsea signed Sarri favourite Jorginho but more new faces are expected at the London club both in January and next summer.
Suso will be a name familiar to Premier League fans, with the 24-year-old winger formerly on the books of Liverpool.
Since leaving Anfield, the reported Chelsea target has impressed at Milan and has been a key player for the Rossoneri over recent seasons.
Chelsea have the likes of Pedro, Willian and Eden Hazard as attacking midfield options but adding Suso would bring strength in depth for Sarri’s men.
With Bakayoko on loan at Milan and seemingly not part of the Blues’ plans, a potential swap deal in January could suit all parties.
