Maurizio Sarri has no intention of losing his first choice left-back
Chelsea have reportedly slapped a €60m (£54m) price tag on Marcos Alonso.
The Spanish defender is understood to be a target for Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid in the final days of their summer transfer window, with the rival clubs both tracking him closely.
However, according to AS, Chelsea have moved to put an end to the two sides’ interest by declaring they will not even talk about letting him leave, unless a £54m offer is received.
With the Spanish transfer window set to close on August 31, a deal looks increasingly unlikely.
It is said that, were he ever to leave Chelsea, Alonso would only be interested in a return to Madrid – as he spent time in both Real and Atleti’s youth academies.
