ALVARO MORATA has revealed he has never seen a player like Callum Hudson-Odoi before and had some advice concerning Eden Hazard for the youngster.
The 17-year-old has caught the eye of many Blues fans after an impressive pre-season.
The youngster was one of the players to receive the most minutes under new boss Maurizio Sarri.
He won the man of the match award after the friendly against Arsenal following a tremendous display.
And team-mate Morata has revealed that he can go on to be one of the best if he continues.
“I have never seen a player like him,” Morata said.
“Ethan Ampadu and him, when you see them playing, it is like they are 25 and 26 years old – and they are 17! They work so hard.”
Morata also urged Hudson-Odoi to learn from Hazard, continuing: “As a player and a man – because Eden is a good example.
“Callum is lucky with Eden, with Willian and all the strikers because they are good people and if he listens and watches Willian, he can be the best for the future.”
Morata has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge but he committed his future to Chelsea this week.
He said: “On the first day of pre-season I spoke to [Chelsea Director Marina Granovskaia] and with the manager and I said: ‘I want to stay at Chelsea’.
“They told me: ‘We have a lot of confidence in you and we want you to stay too.’ So everything was perfect.
“All the people said I wanted to leave, that I was not happy in London but it’s not true.
“When everyone is talking about the possibility to leave I am here looking for a house.
“So the story is finished and I can’t wait for Sunday’s game.”
“Now I have taken another house, a bigger one, near to Cobham. My wife is very happy.”
