Chelsea have launched a late deadline day bid for Liverpool target and Lyon star Nabil Fekir, according to the latest reports.
The France international was on the verge of a £53million move to Liverpool earlier this summer, only for the move to collapse in strange circumstances with a row emerging over his fee and a long-standing knee injury.
Since then, Fekir has been linked with a summer move to Stamford Bridge, with Chelsea reportedly stepping up their pursuit towards the end of the transfer window.
Journalist Pipe Sierra now supports these claims, stating that the Blues have launched a late €60m bid to capture the 25-year-old.
Chelsea face a race against time to get a permanent deal over the line before the 5pm deadline, and it remains to be seen whether Fekir would agree to the move.
