Maurizio Sarri attended first team training on Saturday, the day that he signed for the Blues officially.
That’s a good sign for Chelsea fans, as it means he’s already had a chance to see his new charges in action.
You can see from the pictures posted of his visit that he was present at the training session:
That means he’s already seen his team in action – and presumably has spent the last few weeks rewatching last season’s games.
A manager’s preparation process for a new job is never clear and must be different from one to another, but Sarri seems the type to be very methodical about the whole thing.
Hopefully, despite the delay in appointing him, he has been able to get some work done in advance, and now has a chance to see the players in action – only a couple of days after they returned from their holidays anyway.
