‘Better than Pedro and Willian’ … Chelsea fans love latest update from 17-goal attacker

Chelsea teenager Callum Hudson-Odoi posted a video on Twitter of himself scoring a brilliant goal in training on Saturday, and Blues fans were quick to react.

The 17-year-old, who is one of three Chelsea youngsters who could save owner Roman Abramovich a fortune this summer, enjoyed an impressive campaign for the U18 and U23 sides after scoring 17 goals in 28 appearances, and he was also rewarded with substitute appearances for the first team in the FA Cup and the Premier League – the last of which came against Tottenham Hotspur in April.

The west London outfit may well be in the market for new attackers this summer following a miserable defence of their top flight title, with Pedro and Willian among those at risk of losing their regular spots in the XI.

Chelsea supporters took to social media to give their thoughts on Hudson-Odoi’s latest update, and while one said he is “better than Pedro and Willian”, another said “next season is your time”.

Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction…
