It’s a scorcher today in London, real end-of-season weather but there is still plenty to play for today at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea take on Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp’s side may have a Champions League final to look forward to at the end of the month after seeing off Roma in a memorable night at the Stadio Olimpico on Wednesday but dropped points in recent league games against West Brom and Stoke mean they have yet to guarantee themselves a place in next year’s competition.

Those slip ups have given Antonio Conte’s Chelsea a sniff of snatching a top four berth at the last. However, they must win today if they are to have any chance of overhauling Liverpool.

Tottenham are currently sandwiched between today’s opponents and a win for Chelsea would bring them to within two points of Spurs and three of Liverpool.
