Lucas Piazon has revealed that he is unsure of his future at Chelsea as he plans to return to the club at the start of next season.
Signed by the Blues in 2011 from Brazilian side Sao Paulo, the 24-year-old has spent the majority of his time out on loan after only making three appearances for the club in seven years.
Currently in his second season on loan with Championship side Fulham, the Brazilian could well be playing the Premier League come August if the Cottagers carry on their impressive form.
While he has indicated he would be happy to remain at Craven Cottage, Piazon has revealed he will wait and see what happens as he has two years remaining on his Chelsea contract.
“To speak of next season, I think it’s still a little early,” Piazon told ESPN. “We are in the middle of March, there is still much to happen.
“Usually what happens is that I end up going back to Chelsea, in July I’ll present myself there, and then we’ll see.
“We see what is best, as I have been doing for the last few years.
“I think that way it’s better, you have more time to figure it out, look for a nice place to go.
“I don’t know, maybe I stay here at Fulham. I’m already here for the second year on loan. Anything can happen, actually.
“I have a contract with Chelsea for two more seasons, I renewed at the start of the season for three more, so at the end of this season I still have two more. So let’s see, let’s see.”
