Have Eden Hazard & Thibaut Courtois signed new Chelsea contracts?

Eden Hazard was sensational against West Brom

Chelsea are preparing for another match, tonight against Hull in the FA Cup, but Eden Hazard’s brilliant performance against West Brom lives long in the memory.

The Blues were under pressure after losing two in a row in the Premier League but Hazard almost beat the Baggies single handedly.

Hazard scored two fine goals either side of Victor Moses in a 3-0 win on Monday night.

With Barcelona coming up on Tuesday night, Hazard could well be rested on the bench for the match versus Hull this evening.

Will Eden Hazard sign a new Chelsea contract?

Hazard’s brilliant form does come with one caveat, his Chelsea contract expires in June 2020.

The brilliant Belgian is reportedly on the radar of Real Madrid and Hazard has not shied away from discussing his admiration for Los Blancos coach Zinedine Zidane.

With Real Madrid struggling in La Liga, it seems likely that they will splash the cash this summer.

The likes of Neymar, Harry Kane, Hazard and Mauro Icardi have all been linked with Real Madrid.

With his contract running down and Real Madrid keen for reinforcements, Hazard looks like an easier player to purchase for the Spaniards than Neymar or Kane.

Picture emerges of Hazard at Stamford Bridge

As you might imagine, the future of Hazard is pre-occupying many Chelsea fans right now.

On Thursday, a picture emerged of Hazard being filmed at Stamford Bridge and there is excitement that this could be to prepare for the confirmation of a contract renewal.

To add to the Chelsea fans’ excitement, Thibaut Courtois has also posted on Instagram a picture some Blues supporters have interpreted as a sign he is also staying.

Courtois is contracted to Chelsea until 2019 and has also been heavily linked with Real Madrid.
