NOTTINGHAM FOREST are lining up a loan swoop for Chelsea defender Jake Clarke-Salter.
The 20-year-old has made just one appearance for the Blues this season, against Forest in the Carabao Cup in September.
Antonio Conte wants him to head out on loan for the second half of the season.
A host of Championship clubs have reportedly enquired about Clarke-Salter’s availability.
But ESPN claim that Forest are eager to beat off the competition.
Birmingham and Norwich looked at loan deals for Clarke-Salter in the summer transfer window.
The Carshalton-born starlet helped England’s Under-20s to World Cup glory in June.
He signed a new four-year deal with Chelsea a month later.
Clarke-Salter spent time on loan in League One with Bristol Rovers last term.
