One Chelsea star could be set for an exit either in the January transfer window or in the summer after Antonio Conte’s latest comments.
The Italian boss has today refused to talk in depth about David Luiz’s future at Stamford Bridge but dropped a hint on his future.
The Brazilian’s future has been in doubt since him as his manager had a falling out after the Champions League loss to Roma.
The defender reportedly questioned Conte’s tactics following the game and that has seen his future in major doubt in recent months.
Paris Saint Germain were actually linked with a potential move having left Chelsea to join them, before returning to Chelsea and back to Paris.
Though, that does remain unlikely and while it is not sure where Luiz could move to, his future is very much in doubt.
The player is currently out with injury but could return soon.
Now, Conte has been refusing to talk about a potential rift but that in itself speaks volumes.
The fact that the manager is not guaranteeing that Luiz will stay seems to suggest that the player could well be on his way out of the club.
“I think now this is not the right moment to speak about this”, he explained.
“Now there is a lot of games before the transfer window. Now I think is not the right moment to speak about this. Now, this is not important.”
