Chelsea eye two deals

The Blues are keen to bolster in January and have earmarked a number of players already.

Antonio Conte was frustrated with the business done in the summer and wants to bring players in next month.

And the Standard claim the deal for Bailey looks out of reach but they will make offers for Barkley and Lemar.

Bayer Leverkusen’s sporting director Rudi Voller said: “We have proven many times that we can say ‘no’. We are very relaxed.”

Morata claim

The Chelsea striker is banned for the weekend’s match with Everton after picking up a fifth yellow card of the season.

“I must be honest, I didn’t see it,” Conte said of the incident.

“It’s a big loss as we’ve a tough game against Everton.

“It’s a pity.”

The Brazilian winger will team up with Rafa Benitez’s side next month as they battle against relegation.
