Chelsea are edging closer to the signing of Tiemoue Bakayoko this summer, with the midfielder reportedly in London to finalise a move to Stamford Bridge.
It’s understood the Premier League champions are set to complete a deal of around £37million for the Bakayoko, off the back of the France midfielder’s brilliant campaign with Monaco.
Manchester United were initially interested in signing the highly-rated star but the Blues are expected to unveil the 22-year-old imminently, with Nemanha Matic set for a move to Old Trafford.
Bakayoko knows N’Golo Kante and Kurt Zouma very well from France duty and already appears to be making other friends at Chelsea, ‘liking’ Michy Batshuayi’s most recent Instagram video amid the growing speculation.
The clip shows the Belgian striker performing pre-season exercises at Chelsea’s Cobham training ground.
Bakayoko will no doubt be joining Batshuayi in the gym in the not-too-distant future ahead of the side’s busy pre-season schedule.
Antonio Conte remains intent on sealing deals for Juventus’ Alex Sandro and Everton’s Romelu Lukaku ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.
