CHELSEA star Eden Hazard said the players knew they would win the title during their 13-game winning run earlier in the season.
Chelsea won the Premier League for the second time in three seasons after a 1-0 win over West Brom.
Michy Batshuayi was the hero, scoring in the 82nd minute to send the travelling Blues support wild.
Hazard has played a starring role in Chelsea’s successful domestic campaign, scoring 15 league goals and weighing in with five assists.
And the Belgium international has admitted their stunning run from September to January was when players believed they would scoop the prize.
“It’s amazing to celebrate with the fans. The game was so difficult. We are very happy,” he said.
“We talked a lot about the manager already, he is fantastic and we work a lot in training. Full credit to him and the players. We lost to Arsenal and then we went on an unbelievable run.
“That’s when we said that we can win the league.”
