Diego Costa – “Leaving Chelsea? I am scoring goals, we are on top of the league, we can be champions”

Diego Costa has angrily hit back at his critics and insisted that winning the Premier League title will prove them all wrong.

Costa, 28, is unhappy about being painted as a bad boy and seems upset that he is being linked with a big money move to China this summer.

Chelsea striker Costa believes his 20 goals in this season’s campaign and two titles in three years at Stamford Bridge deserves more respect.

Costa, in an interview with DIRECTVSports, said: “I am very happy. I know that people here, they are always hitting me so much.

“But what I am saying is people here in London, the press, they are always looking for something, speculating.

“Saying that I am leaving, but I am scoring goals, we are on top of the league, we can be champions.

“In three years in Chelsea I can be champion twice which is not a little thing. I hope we can win the league and enjoy and the critics have to be sorry.”

He added: “I do whatever I like and not whateverer everybody else says. People talk too much. I am calm. I am waiting to finish the season, and to be champions and after I will see.”
