Eden Hazard has fully recovered from last season’s dismal campaign and is back to his old self.
The Chelsea star and his team-mates had a horrific spell under Jose Mourinho and Guus Hiddink last year.
Chelsea finished 10th in their poor Premier League title defence and the Special One was sacked in December 2015 after losing the dressing room.
Mourinho has since gone on to join Manchester United and is impressing at Old Trafford, while the Blues have appointed Antonio Conte – who is guiding his team to the title.
And Hazard – who was struggling with a hip injury under the Special One last campaign – says he’s happy now after telling himself to get over Mourinho’s sacking.
“I started last season with pain,” Hazard told the Daily Telegraph.
“I remember the game at Leicester. It was so painful.
“When you play a bad game, we lost the game and the manager [Mourinho] was sacked, so everyone was talking in a bad way.
“But you have to deal with it. I deal with it this season, so I am happy.”
