Defender drops massive hint about Chelsea transfer

CHELSEA defender Kurt Zouma has hinted he could leave the club this summer.

The French centre back has played just 23 minutes in the Premier League this season after recovering from a serious knee injury.

Antonio Conte has not missed him though, as his side continue to stroll towards the title.

But with big-money moves for the likes of Leonardo Bonucci mooted for the summer, Zouma has refused to give any assurances about his future.

He told beIN SPORTS: “Leave Chelsea? We’ll see at the end of the season.”

John Terry is expected to depart Stamford Bridge but Andreas Christensen is set to return to the club with his two-year loan spell at Borussia Monchengladbach due to end.

David Luiz and Gary Cahill have looked superb this year while Cesar Azpilicueta has adapted well to life in the centre.

But their march towards the title means Champions League qualification is all but assured.

Conte will need more bodies in his squad if he is to cope with the extra demand of battling for silverware in Europe.

  1. He’s a really good young CB – no way we should let him go unless he really wants to and we get seriously good money for him!!!
