Chelsea have reportedly offered Celtic star Moussa Dembele a contract ahead of a summer move.
But the French striker has turned down the Stamford Bridge club, according to Glasgow Live.
Chelsea met with the representatives of Dembele to discuss a deal for the in-demand forward.
The London club offered the 20-year-old a contract worth £65,000-a-week, rising to £100,000-a-week.
However, Dembele rejected the move as he doesn’t think he would be guaranteed first-team football at Chelsea.
Dembele joined Celtic last summer ahead of Premier League clubs Arsenal and Tottenham because he knew he would be a starter at Celtic Park.
And Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers will be delighted his main man has chosen to make the same decision when Chelsea came calling.
Dembele must surely be wary of Michy Batshuayi’s situation at Chelsea.
The Belgian joined the club for £33m but hasn’t started a league game, with Diego Costa preferred as the sole striker under Antonio Conte.
Other English sides are interested in Dembele, with Liverpool the most likely to give him a starting spot.
