Thierry Henry lavished praise on Eden Hazard for his impressive performance in Chelsea’s 3-1 win at Manchester City on Saturday.
The Belgian playmaker seems to be rediscovering his top form for Chelsea this season and Hazard netted the Blues’ third goal in their victory at The Etihad.
Hazard looked a shadow of his former self last season as he struggled to produce consistent displays for the west London side.
However, the 25-year-old already looks to be in much better form this season and he played an influential role in Chelsea’s win at City on Saturday.
And Arsenal legend Henry delivered his assessment of Hazard’s performance after the game.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Henry said: “Eden Hazard scored his goal but what I liked about him [today] was the way he defended.
“It was his work rate, the way he defended for the team.”
Chelsea are top of the Premier League table and have now won their last eight games in a row in the top flight under new boss Antonio Conte.
The Blues finished in 10th place and without a trophy after Jose Mourinho’s sacking last season.
