CHELSEA will be without Diego Costa and N’Golo Kante for the Boxing Day clash with Bournemouth.
Both players picked up bookings in the 1-0 win at Crystal Palace today to earn suspensions for Chelsea’s next game.
The Blues are due to host Bournemouth after Christmas as they see to extend their lead in the Premier League title race.
Costa scored the winner at Selhurst Park today, heading home just before half time.
But he also picked up a needless booking for a kick on Joe Ledley earlier in the first half.
Costa had not been carded for 10 games, having picked up four yellow in six outings at the start of the season.
Kante was booked for persistent fouling 62 minutes in to pick up his fifth yellow of the season.
It was the 25-year-old’s fourth booking in six games, having not previously received a yellow since the opening week of the season.
