Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur will face each other in the Premier League this weekend.
Former Liverpool and Manchester United striker Michael Owen has predicted that there will be a red card in the game between Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur this weekend.
Chelsea will face London rivals Tottenham at home in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
Owen believes that there will be a red card in the London derby at Stamford Bridge.
“I thought some of the behaviour in the corresponding game last season was little short of disgraceful and there is sure to still be some bad blood between the sides,” the Englishman wrote.
“It is again a massive game for both clubs with Spurs clinging onto their unbeaten PL record and Chelsea on a roll at present.
“I hope I am wrong but I expect a tight, tetchy affair and it wouldn’t surprise me if referee Michael Oliver is in for a busy night.”
Chelsea are in stunning form at the moment and will fancy their chances of wining against Tottenham.
The London outfit are currently at the top of the Premier League table with 28 points from 12 matches.
Antonio Conte’s side are a point clear of Liverpool and Manchester City, who are second and third respectively in the standings at the moment.
Tottenham’s recent form has not been great, and Mauricio Pochettino’s side were knocked out of the Champions League on Tuesday evening.
The North London outfit are currently fifth in the standings, and they have to start putting together a run of positive results soon.
