CHELSEA loanee Kenneth Omeruo hopes to force his way into Antonio Conte’s squad next season.
The Nigeria international defender joined Turkish side Alanyaspor on a season-long loan deal during the summer transfer window.
He is under contract at Stamford Bridge until 2019 after extending his deal before making the loan switch.
Omeruo has also had spells at ADO Den Haag, Middlesbrough and Kasimpasa and is determined to finally break into the starting XI at Chelsea.
“I am hopeful of playing under coach Antonio Conte next season,” he said.
“I’m working really hard to remain at Chelsea and play in the Premier League.”
Omeruo arrived at Chelsea from Standard Liege in 2012 but is yet to make a senior appearance for the club.
The centre-back has made 31 appearances for Nigeria and helped his country to Africa Cup of Nations glory in 2013.
He has made eight appearances for Alanyaspor in the Super Lig this season.
