Breaking news: Chelsea offer a new long-term contract to the Blues defender

CHELSEA have offered Fankaty Dabo a new long-term contract.

The Daily Mirror say the Blues are desperate to tie down the England Under-20 international, who is out of contract next summer.

And should the defender put pen to paper, Chelsea then want to loan out the 21-year-old in January.

The Mirror say Dutch side Vittesse Arnhem are among a list of clubs interested in the highly-rated youngster.

The England ace could follow Matt Miazga, Nathan and Lewis Baker to the Dutch side.

Dabo has made nearly 100 appearances for Chelsea’s youth sides but is yet to play for the seniors.

He started 23 games for Chelsea’s Under-21’s last season and has regularly captained the side.
