Falcao To Chelsea Confirmed, Yet Again!

Ever since the silly season has started, much has been made about Falcao and his future. It is safe to say that it has been possibly the biggest talk of the town right now.

At first, the papers reported that Chelsea were interested, then it was the agent. Then came the Chelsea boss, Jose Mourinho by saying he would ‘love to’ take Falcao under his wing and get him back to his best. Later, it was his past teammates, namely Thibaut Courtois, who climbed in on the Falcao to Chelsea bandwagon.

Now the Colombian manager his decided to chime in as well. As reported by the Colombian radio channel Blu Radio, the Colombian manager, Jose Pekerman has confirmed that Falcao is joining Chelsea FC. He even went on record saying that Falcao and compatriot Juan Cuadrado would gel well for the Blues next season.

Meanwhile, Cuadrado himself has been dropping hints, with the help of Pekerman. When pressed on Chelsea signing Falcao, Cuadrado at first was hesitant to say anything but Pekerman jumped in, quoted by Colombia’s AS, saying to the winger,

“Just say you’re happy.”

Cuadrado then said,

“It’s important to have a teammate like Falcao at Chelsea.”

After his debut season as a Chelsea player being deemed a failure, Cuadrado will be hoping that fortunes start turning in his favor after Falcao’s arrival; that looks nothing but a mere formality now.
