Is Jose Mourinho planning for a sensational Brazilian swoop?

If the news at ESPN is to be believed, then the answer is yes. This sensational Brazilian is landing at Stamford Bridge next summer. Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho looks set to once again raid Benfica.

According to ESPN:

Attacking midfielder Anderson Talisca, 20, is the next in line to follow in the steps of David Luiz and Nemanja Matic and make the switch from the red of Benfica to the blue of West London according to The Daily Star.

Pencil it in — Talisca will touch down in Heathrow next summer.

Mourinho certainly showed a keen interest in the player and labelled himself as one of his fans

“I think Benfica hired well. They say Talisca is unknown, but he is only so unknown because he’s only not playing in England because he doesn’t have a work permit. If he had one, he would be here!”

Looks credible enough to me, however, who he will replace at the Stamford Bridge is still a big question. Is he going to warm the bench like many of his counterparts? Let’s wait and watch.

  1. He will sign a contract, get to the reserves, get out for loan, and get to the squad when he reached 23, or if he’s a good player it would be earlier like Kurt Zouma
