John Terry joins the elite list of Champions League 100

Chelsea captain John Terry has become the second player this year for Chelsea to make 100 appearances in the Champions League.

Petr Cech, who was on the bench for the match in Lisbon, achieved the landmark earlier this year in March. The captain reached the milestone together with Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta.

The legend said he was proud of this achievement and congratulated his teammates for the win.

“I’m very proud, there’s not too many players to achieve that.”

What else could have been a better gift than a 1-0 victory in an away game? Congratulations O Captain! My Captain!
