So after some lengthy International break the meaningful football will be back tomorrow that will see the Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea side facing what could be a tough game against an in form Swansea team.
Last season we won both the fixtures against Swansea by the margin of 1-0 with Eden Hazard and Demba Ba scoring in the respective matches.While the margin of victory didn’t look big, it was a rather comfortable win for The Blues as Swansea rarely looked threatening in the final 3rd.
This season though the Swansea had been undefeated playing some good incisive football compared to the last couple of season when they just looked to pass the ball and dominate the possession without meaningful end products.They have often threatened to score goals and their last week victory against WBA (3-0) is an example of how good they can be if given space in dangerous areas.
Traditionally Swansea has been a team who loves to control the pace of the game by dominating the possession but this season they have showed some real urgency in the final 3rd of opposition half and with the kind of physical players they have (Jonjo Shelvey,Wilfried Bony) this could be a good battle come Saturday.
