Chelsea’s new marksman Loic Remy, who recently joined the Stamford Bridge side has disclosed that he has no idea why his Liverpool medical failed, as he was completely fit.
Before joining Chelsea, Loic Remy was linked to Liverpool and even went for the medicals with the Anfield side. However, Liverpool rejected the move saying Remy could not clear the medicals.
The Frenchman, however, has no regrets as he things he totally fits Jose Mourinho’s scheme of things and will get lot of things to learn at this great club.
Remy, who scored France’s only goal in the 1-0 win over Spain last week, said:
“I did not understand myself. A problem during the medical examination? I do not know. They put it; that must be it.
“In my head, I quite wanted to stay at QPR, but I did not hesitate one second to many reasons: for my room for improvement, for my confidence, in terms of level of demand and Chelsea is one of the best clubs in the world. I’m happy to have signed for a club like this.
“I know I’m not going to be the first striker, but nothing is set. I have goals. By signing here, I did not say it was to stay on the sidelines. I will try to move up alongside great players. The rest will happen naturally.” (Source: Daily Star)
