Fulham vs Chelsea – Match Preview

Two sides on opposite ends of the Premier League table go head-to-head this weekend, as table-toppers Chelsea visit Craven Cottage to take on London rivals Fulham.

The Cottagers, who are currently four points from safety and without a win in seven top-flight match,
have called upon Felix Magath to save them from relegation.

The experienced German coach saw three points snatched from him in his first game in charge last
weekend as Matej Vydra struck an 85th-minute equaliser for West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns.

On the other hand, Chelsea have won only one of their last four matches, and that with a fortuitous injury-time goal against Everton, but they have an excellent record against Fulham, winning or drawing their last 16 meetings.

Fulham have no new injury concerns and record signing Kostas Mitroglou is in contention to make his first start since signing from Olympiacos for £12m in January, with Hugo Rodallega possibly making way as the lone frontman.

Chelsea come off the back of a Champions League tie against Galatasaray on Wednesday night, and Jose Mourinho will be tempted to shuffle his pack to avoid fatigue.
