Neymar has revealed his pick for the Premier League top four spots this season – and it’s bad news for Liverpool.
As things stand both the Reds and Chelsea are joint leaders alongside Watford – with four wins from their first four fixtures.
Last season’s champions Manchester City are in fourth, after they dropped two points in their shock draw against Wolves.
Tottenham meanwhile are in fifth, having lost one of their first four fixtures, after winning their first three against Newcastle, Fulham and Manchester United.
The other two clubs included in the Big Six – Arsenal and the Red Devils – currently find themselves in ninth and tenth respectively, both on six points after winning two and losing two of their first four fixtures.
As things stand Manchester City and Liverpool are favourites to win the Premier League title this season, while Chelsea are odds on to finish in the top four.
Aside from that it’s anyone’s guess how things will pan out, but it seems Neymar has a good, if not controversial, idea.
Speaking to the Express at the PokerStars European Poker Tour Barcelona event, the Paris Saint-Germain forward said: “Who will in it [the Premier League]?
“Woah, that’s difficult. It’s very hard, it’s very difficult, but Manchester City will win it. Second will be United, third is Chelsea. Fourth is Tottenham.”
Asked whether he overlooked Liverpool, the Brazilian confirmed that he hadn’t, tipping them to miss out on a top-four finish.
