ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI is not going anywhere amid links to Chelsea, according to Bayern Munich boss Niko Kovac.
The Blues have been quiet in this transfer window after signing just one outfield player.
With less than two weeks to go until the window shuts, Jorginho has been the only confirmed arrival to likely feature in the first-team after Rob Green was also signed as back-up goalkeeper.
But it has not stopped the club from being linked with a number of top star, including Gonzalo Higuain, Daniele Rugani and Anthony Martial.
However, Starsport can reveal that Bayern ace Lewandowski is set to become the west London outfit’s top target from now until the end of the summer.
With Alvaro Morata’s future unclear and Higuain’s move in danger, Chelsea have made Lewandowski a priority.
But the Bayern boss Kovac has a different take on the rumours.
“Our stance is clear: He won’t leave this club,” Kovac told Sky Germany.
“Everyone’s entitled to voice his wish.
“And it’s right that Robert’s playing with the idea to go elsewhere.
“But it’s one thing what he would like to do and another thing what we want. He will see out his contract.”
