Chelsea transfer news: Conte not consulted on Golovin, Rugani and Alisson bids amid saga

CHELSEA have refused to consult Antonio Conte on deals for Aleksandr Golovin, Daniele Rugani and Alisson Becker, it has been claimed.

Chelsea continue to stall on a decision over Conte’s future with Roman Abramovich wary of sacking the Italian.

The Blues boss has steered them to the Premier League title and FA Cup during his two years at the helm.

But Conte’s decision to repeatedly question Chelsea’s transfer policy last term has plunged his Stamford Bridge future into doubt.

Express Sport understands the west London giants are determined to name former Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri as their next manager.

And the Guardian suggest the Blues are preparing for Sarri’s imminent appointment.

The report claims Chelsea are eyeing Golovin, Rugani and Alisson.

Golovin is currently on international duty with Russia at the World Cup, helping them beat Spain in the last 16 today.

Chelsea are supposedly in talks with CSKA Moscow over a deal for the 22-year-old.

Yet the Guardian say the Blues also want Rugani and Alisson.

Rugani could add steel to a Chelsea defence that struggled without David Luiz in their XI throughout last season.

Alisson, meanwhile, is being eyed to replace Thibaut Courtois – who wants to join Real Madrid.

Chelsea, however, are refusing to consult Conte as they prepare to axe the former Juventus manager.

And it only seems to be a matter of time before Sarri is announced.

TalkSPORT presenter Georgie Bingham, meanwhile, thinks Chelsea will not announce any signings until Conte is gone.

“I’m not surprised if they’ve turned it down,” Bingham said, referring to their decision to snub Barcelona’s £50million offer for Willian.

“The point is I don’t think they will be letting anyone leave before they know who the manager is.

“I don’t think they will be buying anyone really until they know who the manager is.

“This is the big danger for Chelsea, it feels like everything has stopped.”
