CHELSEA are reportedly set to confirm the signing of Aleksandr Golovin within 72 hours despite late interest from Monaco.
The Blues are wasting no time since appointing Maurizio Sarri as their new manager.
Business has suddenly kicked into life since Friday with the Italian being joined by Jorginho.
But the deals have not stopped there as the Blues look to reestablish themselves as one of the top teams in the Premier League.
Daniele Rugani, Alisson and Leon Bailey have all been linked with a move to Chelsea.
But the strongest rumour is Golovin, who has emerged out of this year’s World Cup as a potential superstar.
The 22-year-old shone for Russia as the host nation shocked everyone by making the quarter-finals.
Along the way they manage to knock Spain out who were one of the favourites to win the tournament.
And according to Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla, a deal for the CSKA Moscow midfielder will be confirmed in 48 to 72 hours.
The Corrielle dello Sport reporter correctly reported the Sarri and Jorginho double deal and it appears another one is on its way.
He said: “Confirmed: Chelsea remains ahead for Golovin and wants to close in 48-72 hours. Monaco is trying but are for now chasing.”
Sarri wanted the young star at Napoli and it appears the Stamford Bridge hierarchy has granted him his wish.
