Willian is set to be one of Chelsea’s transfer stories of the summer after the club reportedly rejected a bid from Barcelona and Manchester United set to swoop for the winger.
The 29-year-old has had a frustrating time of it in recent years under Antonio Conte at the Blues and he has made it clear that his relationship with the Blues manager is somewhat frayed after posting an Instagram photo of the whole side celebrating the FA Cup win and three cup emojis blocking out the Italian.
Jose Mourinho is reportedly keen on a reunion with the Brazilian at Old Trafford with Willian’s game time at Stamford Bridge having been reduced, and a move might well be on the cards in the coming weeks.
The World Cup might have been the perfect time for Willian to put himself in the shop window for those interested clubs, however it hasn’t really gone to plan for the winger.
Willian got one assist in the last 16 match against Mexico, however in the quarter-final against Belgium he was brought off at half-time, for the second time in the tournament.
While Aleksandr Golovin has been linked with the Blues, some Chelsea fans are ready to see the back of Willian this summer.
