Chelsea target set to leave Roma for Serie A rivals Inter

Chelsea target Radja Nainggolan is closing in on a move to Internazionale.

Nainggolan, the midfielder, has been put up for sale by Roma as they need cash to reinvest elsewhere in their squad.

Chelsea had expressed an interest in the Belgian after previously trying to sign him two years ago after Euro 2016.

But, according to Sky Sports Italia, Nainggolan will join Inter in the coming days after positive talks with them.

The Nerazzurri are set to cough up around £20m upfront for the 30-year-old – with two players going the other way in exchange too.

Teenager Nicolo Zaniolo is one of those who will be part of the deal and Roma are deciding on the second player at the moment.

Inter were offered the chance to sign Nainggolan in a pure cash deal for around £35m, however, due to Financial Fair Play regulations, they have been forced to use players to meet the asking price.

Chelsea set to make a £30m bid for Juventus defender Daniele Rugani with a contract for center-back already drawn up

Chelsea is ready to test Juventus’ resolve to keep Daniele Rugani with a £30million bid for the defender.

The Blues are closing in on the appointment of new manager Maurizio Sarri, with Antonio Conte set to be shown the door in favor of the former Napoli boss.

Sarri has already been working on a list of transfer targets, and Rugani is reportedly high on that shortlist.

The Italy center-back is regarded as a star of the future by Juventus, but he is still yet to become a first-team regular.

And now, according to Sportitalia, Chelsea are prepared to make an opening offer for the 23-year-old of around £30m.

The Blues believe that could tempt the Serie A champions into selling and they have drawn up a provisional contract for Rugani too.

That would be worth around £60,000-a-week to the defender and would run until June 2023.
