The Blues manage is tipped to leave Stamford Bridge this summer.
Antonio Conte’s Chelsea future remains up in the air with it still becoming seemingly likely that the Blues manager is set for the exit this summer despite winning the FA Cup final on Saturday.
The Blues manager is tipped to be heading out of the door of Stamford Bridge, with Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri the favourite to be taking his place for the 2018/19 season.
Getting rid of Conte might not go down well with some Chelsea fans after he guided the Blues to the Premier League title in his first season, before clinching the cup at Wembley with a 1-0 victory over Manchester United.
Many might think that talks would be instantly starting with the Chelsea board, however Conte has flown out of England just two days after the win at Wembley, which got many on social media wondering why.
However, the reason for his journey to Italy was explained by the Blues boss himself before the final Premier League match at Newcastle United.
Conte is heading to Milan for Andrea Pirlo’s testimonial game where stars from across the world are set to play in the Italian star’s name after he hung up his boots last year.
“No, but for sure, probably, I will go to Milan for the game for Pirlo. On the 21st,” Conte said on May 11. “Then we don’t know, at the end of the season, if we have friendly games.
“I don’t know anything about our end of season. For sure, in the next week, the situation will be more clear for the end of the season. Clearer for the end of the season.”
Frank Lampard is another Chelsea name set to be on the pitch at the San Siro Stadium, with Conte taking in the match from the stands.
