Robert Lewandowski held talks with his agent this week to discuss a possible move away from Bayern Munich. The 29-year-old striker has scored 150 goals in 194 appearances for Bayern since his debut back in 2014 but is expected to leave the club in the summer transfer window. Chelsea and Real Madrid are both plotting moves for Lewandowski and the Pole could be set for his last match in Bayern colours this weekend. The Sun have published photographs of Lewandowski meeting with super-agent Pini Zahavi to holds showdown talks about his future.
Zahavi has close ties with Chelsea but hinted at a possible move to Real Madrid for the forward in February.
‘I am glad that Robert decided to co-operate with me,’ Zahavi said after taking over as Lewandowski’s agent.
‘I will do everything to work well in his name.
‘He is a great footballer. He is the best striker in the world. Therefore, it is not surprising that I have signals about the interest of his person in all major clubs.
‘Will Robert go to Real Madrid? We’ll see. Now it’s time for me to do my job.’
Lewandowski attempted to play down the speculation linking him with Madrid last month.
‘Am I thinking about Real in terms of a transfer? No, not at all,’ he said.
