Tottenham forward Fernando Llorente is keen on leaving the club this summer.
The 33-year-old has been a backup option to Harry Kane and he is frustrated with the lack of first-team action. Llorente has made 22 appearances so far this season and 19 of them have come from the bench.
Llorente was linked with a move to Chelsea before he opted to join Spurs and the Spaniard will be wondering if he made the right choice.
Olivier Giroud has been playing quite often for the Blues since joining them. Conte wanted to sign a target man to partner Morata and Llorente would have played a lot more at Chelsea.
Reports claim that Llorente is interested in a move back to Spain and he wants to rejoin Athletic Bilbao this summer.
He will get to play more often at another club and a summer move seems ideal for all parties.
It will be interesting to see whether the La Liga outfit make a move for their former star. Llorente was signed on a bargain and Spurs are unlikely to demand a lot for him.
Napoli name their price for Chelsea target ahead of the summer
Chelsea have been strongly linked with a move for Napoli central defender Kalidou Koulibaly in recent weeks.
The powerful defender has been in good form for Maurizio Sarri’s side, who are continuing to push for the Serie A title. Koulibaly netted the decisive goal on Sunday as Napoli defeated Juventus 1-0.
Napoli want to keep hold of Koulibaly beyond the summer transfer window but interest is building, with Chelsea touted as a potential destination for the player.
Although the Italian giants are desperate to retain their centre-back’s services ahead of next season, reports from Gazzetta dello Sport, via Calciomercato, indicate that Napoli would consider offers worth at least €70 million.
Chelsea’s defensive woes have been well documented throughout the course of the season and it’s likely to be a summer consisting of upheaval with Antonio Conte set for a summer exit.
Koulibaly has long been linked with a move to the Premier League and Chelsea will be hopeful of convincing him to make the switch.
