Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco are believed to be keen on signing Chelsea target Richarlison in the summer, according to reports.
The Brazilian has impressed in his first season at Watford and a number of top clubs in Europe have been linked with a move for the 20-year-old.
After netting five goals in his first 12 appearances for the Hornets, reports suggested that the Blues, Arsenal and Spurs were all interested in signing the ex-Fluminense man come the end of the season.
However, Richarlison, who has yet to score since the 2-0 win over West Ham back in November, has been unable to replicate his stunning form from the first few months of the season.
In fact, he has been dropped to the bench for their last two games against Bournemouth and Burnley following a loss of form.
Despite the player failing to hit the heights in 2018, the Mirror claim that Ligue 1 giants PSG and Monaco are keeping tabs on the attacker.
With both clubs having plenty of money at their disposal, they could well meet the £40million fee Watford have slapped on Richarlison.
Amid talk of a move away from Vicarage Road at the end of the season, Richarlison stated last month that he wants to play in the Champions League, although he is only focused on Watford at present.
“Look, everybody wants financial security for their family, and when a player says otherwise, he’s lying,” he told April’s issue of FourFourTwo.
“If I play at a really high level, opportunities will come my way.
“But right now my mind is focused on Watford. I will raise my level.
“I think about playing in the Champions League and being the top scorer in the Premier League.”
Gary Neville pinpoints Chelsea FC’s big mistake this season
Gary Neville believes Chelsea FC have paid the price for selling Nemanja Matic to Manchester United last summer.
The defending Premier League champions made the surprise decision to offload the Serbia international in August 2017.
Matic was a key member of Antonio Conte’s team alongside N’Golo Kante as Chelsea FC won the Premier League title in 2016-17.
The Blues signed France international Tiemoue Bakayoko in a £40m deal from Ligue 1 giants AS Monaco.
A month later, Matic departed to strengthen one of Chelsea FC’s fiercest Premier League rivals ahead of the 2017-18 campaign.
The Blues have struggled to maintain their high performance levels in the current season without Matic to protect their defence.
Bakayoko has struggled to adapt to the Premier League, while his fellow summer signing Alvaro Morata has also been underwhelming.
Former Manchester United defender Neville believes Chelsea FC made a big mistake selling Matic to the Red Devils.
“They did try to go for Lukaku,” Neville told Sky Sports.
“They didn’t call on the situation with Costa. Matic is a strange one.
“It was suggested Bakayoko was a far better talent but Matic brings an authority and a control to the pitch.
“Letting him go to Manchester United, who are going to potentially finish second, was a mistake.”
Matic won two Premier League titles in three seasons at Chelsea FC, while the Serbian lifted the League Cup in 2015.
Chelsea FC are in fifth place in the Premier League table and eight points adrift of fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur.
